Join our pride!. What a truly remarkable time Saturday morning seeing the Born Free Forever Exhibition at Millennium Green near Waterloo!. You’ll discover each lion has a special affinity with Born Free, from the showstopper centrepiece of Elsa the lioness Born Free’s original inspiration returned to the wild by George and Joy Adamson, Christian the cub purchased from Harrods and successfully returned to the wild, individuals YOU helped Born Free rescue from the pet trade, circus and trophy hunting, to those you help keep safe in the wild, each sculpture helps represent the many threats lions face today. In honour of what would have been the 100th Birthday year of Bill Travers MBE, we are celebrating the fearless Co-Founder’s legacy by designating 2022 as Born Free’s 'Year of the Lion'. The UK’s largest lion sculpture has taken up residence at Millennium Green in London’s Waterloo for three months and YOU are invited to be part of our pride. Come and admire the amazing artwork of world-famous artists Gillie and Marc, then take a selfie and share with the hashtags #LoveTheLast #BornFreeForever or #ForeverLions.
Those of you who attend THANK YOU so much for supporting our Born Free family and for visiting the exhibit a family which you will strongly become a part of by showing your support!. Every single pound Born Free raises will fund the battle to keep these ultimate predators safe in the wild, end trophy hunting and fight captive exploitation. Your gift today will help ensure a future for this iconic beautiful species.
The Born Free Forever exhibition will go on to tour major cities in the UK Newcastle, Bristol and ending in Edinburgh this October.
